I recommend booking accommodation atleast 6 months in advance especially if you want to stay closer to the park. There are great Airbnb options as well that are within an hour away from the valley.

Spring and Fall are the best times to elope in Yosemite. In the spring the park is less crowded and waterfalls are at full peak.
What Is the best time of day to get married in Yosemite?
The best time of day to get married in Yosemite is early in the morning from sunrise to around 10a or later in the day closer to sunset. This is the best time to elope so you can avoid crowds. I also recommend eloping on the weekdays from Monday to Thursday. I love Yosemite but I definitely don't love crowds.
