The beach area near the Storm King Ranger Station is another favorite, with the lake and mountains framing everything perfectly. And if you want to make a full weekend of it, the Lake Crescent Lodge sits right on the water and is one of the most romantic spots to stay in the entire Pacific Northwest.
Lake Crescent is accessible year-round, and it’s beautiful in every single season. If I could only tell you to go to one place in this park, it would be here, without hesitation.
Hoh Rainforest: Getting Married in an Enchanted Forest
The Hoh Rainforest is unlike anywhere else on Earth. The trees are ancient and enormous, draped head-to-toe in thick green moss. Ferns grow in every direction. The light filters through the canopy in the softest, dreamiest way. Walking into the Hoh feels like walking into another world.
The Hall of Mosses is the most iconic spot for ceremonies, and the photos taken there look almost painterly — like something out of a storybook. It’s quiet and green and completely magical.
It can get rainy especially during the winter season. But a misty, rainy elopement in the rainforest can turn out to be amazing. I definitely would say to embrace it because nature will do its thing in wild places like Olympic National Park.
