In the summer, you get the wildflowers and vegetation. In the fall you get to experience the amazing fall foliage in the mountains of Colorado. The San Juan Mountains are one of the most magical locations to elope in Colorado.

Crested Butte

Crested Butte is another great location to elope in Colorado. There are beautiful mountain views and wildflowers in the summer. It has similar landscapes to the San Juan Mountains. The best time to elope in Crested Butte is in the summer from late June to mid-July. That’s when you can experience the wildflowers flourishing. In the fall, you get the best weather and all the stunning fall colors. But, most importantly, you get more privacy since there won’t be many visitors at the location in the fall. The wildflowers are usually gone by then and so will the crowds.

Breckenridge

Breckenridge is one of my favorite locations to elope. It is easily accessible, it is closer to the Denver airport and there are so many amazing locations to choose from. Some of the best locations to elope in Breckenridge are Boreas Pass, Officers Gulch, Sapphire Point, and Hoosier Pass. There are so many local spots to elope that have lakes and wildflowers. Breckenridge as a whole is a hidden gem. You can elope in Breckenridge, year-round. In the winter, skiing is a very popular activity. In the summer and fall, it is perfect for hiking.
