Yosemite Valley is full of beautiful locations to elope. P + K had a simple Yosemite Valley wedding They are both two artists who enjoy nature and they wanted a more relaxed elopement day in Yosemite National Park. When eloping, couples can choose whatever location they want and do trails that don’t require a lot of hiking.
P + K decided to have an elopement day with minimal hiking. We did a little bit of hiking to get to the location where they shared their first look. The look on K’s face was priceless as he turned around to see his beautiful bride. They embraced and shared a kiss to celebrate that special moment. We then took some time to explore the area and take some portraits. Then they shared their first dance before P+K finding a place to sit to write their vows. They got to have this time to just focus on each other. The best part about elopements is there’s no pressure and couples can be their authentic selves all the time.
P+ K wrote their vows and we walked to a spot with an epic view of Yosemite Falls for their ceremony. They got to have privacy to say their vows as I photographed them from a distance. They did a ring exchange and shared a kiss. It was such a sweet moment to photograph.
After the ceremony, they did a little bit more exploring at Cook’s Meadow before the end of their photography coverage. Cook’s Meadow has many spots to explore and it is also near other spots like Swinging Bridge and Sentinel Beach. P+ K spent the rest of their day with family and friends at their lodge.
Yosemite Valley weddings can be as simple or elaborate as you want. P + K’s Yosemite Valley wedding was simple, relaxed, and romantic.
